Canada Part 1

I have been in Canada for a week. I have been vomiting for most of that time. It may have had something to do with the massive party I had the night before I left...typical me. Pictures will appear on the interweb within days, I promise.

I am in Vancouver now, staying at my mum's apartment, but before that I was in Toronto for a week seeing friends. It was also my sister's 24th birthday, and in typical Mercy fashion, we went cosmic bowling. God, that girl will ALWAYS be a little kid, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I also got to hang with my niece Taylor, and my friends Erin and Morgan and Rebecca. I was in dire need of an injection of friend love, which is what I got.

So now I am in Vancity, seeing family and gearing up for Christmas insanity. Here are a few shots that I took on my mobile phone device...for your viewing pleasure....

This is so awesome. It is a computer generated "drawing" of me and my sister. We got it at the Cosmic Bowling Alley. SO worth the four bucks. Ain't we pretty?

I guess this means I am God? God-like, at the very least...you know, cuz I can do the worm...like God...

Friendly Fire

My dear friend Romain sent me these photos of the two of us acting free a while back. My sadness over not seeing him for a month (I am going back to Canada in less than a week) has inspired me to post them. Aren't we soooooo fucking cute?????? OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!

Drunk and Slutty

I modeled for Tonga on Tuesday. She asked me to take on the character or a sexy, slutty party girl in London. It didn't take much acting, to be honest. It was, however, super fun. Tonga has been getting friends to create over the top and dramatized characters that resemble weirdos you might see around London, and then she makes drawings and collages from the resulting photo shoots. Here is what we came up with.

My Ex Boyfriend is Famous

My Friend Gavin plays drums in a really awesome band called Dearly Beloved. They just released a new video that is in heavy rotation on Much Music (the Canadian version of MTV). This is a really big deal, as they only other artists on "heavy rotation" are people like Justin Bieber and Beyonce. The song is called Make it Bleed.

Amsterdam!

 Last weekend, I went to Amsterdam with my friends Molly and Louise. We stayed at Phil's place. We had a great time, but....it was also kind of a massive fail. We kind of did not accomplish ANYTHING we set out to do....Friday we went to Trouw, a warehousey type club thingy. Caribou played a DJ set and we danced our faces off until 6 am. Woke up late saturday, and all we could think about was eating cheeseburgers and dressing up in Phil's massive flannel shirts.

 We went to print our boarding passes on Sunday, which unexpectedly took about 2 hours. Good god.

 Molly had a broken shoe. This was a source of great strife for her and everyone in her immediate vicinity.

 There was a fire across the street from the internet cafe. Some excitement at last!

And finally, A Small World, the cafe where Louise used to work and where we ate our final meal in Amsterdam before rushing off to the airport.

Amsterdam is beautiful, no doubt about it. I DEFINITELY need to go back when it is sunny and for much longer than 36 hours. Good times!
