Don't Call Me a Hippie

On December 19, 2009, I saw my beloved Burt Neilson Band perform at the Opera House in Toronto. It was a great show, and I wish I had more photos to document the ensuing madness. These guys only play about once a year together, so I was super insanely lucky to get to see them on my trip back home. Mike, Jeff, Jer and Gav are some of the best guys I know, and they are all wicked musicians with very busy careers. And they are all super effing funny. Love youse guys!

Witchy Woman

Last week, my friend Ed had a Roald Dahl themed house party. I went as the Grand High Witch. Larry went as Matilda's Dad. Can't you tell from the hat he is wearing?


The lovely ladies Rosie and Charlotte were also in attendance. This pleased Ed greatly.

Shortly after receiving this kiss, Ed climbed up on the kitchen counter with glee....and promptly fell off. Lord love him. Can't tell you what character he is meant to be....I think he might just really like wearing a dress...and eyeliner.




Weird night...very weird night. I just love me a costume party.
